Geraldine "Liz" Frazier Honeycutt ANDOVER, Va. Our loving mother, a gift from God, departed us on Oct. 18, 2010, at her family home after a lengthy illness. She loved the outdoors and taking care of her many animals. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Appalachia Bulldogs. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Henry "Buster" Honeycutt; her mother and father, John and Amy Dezarn Frazier; and two brothers, Richard Frazier and Franklin Frazier; and son-in-law, Charles Dickenson. She is survived by daughters, Kathy Stacy, Pat Dickenson, Mary Lou Ward and Carlton McDaniel, Angela Honeycutt and Donald Edwards; son, John Honeycutt; grandchildren, Richie and wife Mistti Lane, Dennis Lane and wife Kim Holzer, Marcie Phillips, Amy Fleming and husband Chris Fleming, Ricky Sturgill and wife Christy Sturgill, Shanna Begley and husband Brandon Begley; great- grandchildern, Steven Lane, Zachary Lane,Cassidy Lane, Lucy Lane, Josh Phillips, Patrick Fleming, Sydney Fleming, Olivia Fleming, Phoenix Begley, and Alexis Sturgill; brothers, Jay Frazier, Paul Frazier and Cotton Frazier; sisters, Gail Frazier Surrett, Linda Frazier Cooper, Becky Frazier Mosier. The family wishes to thank Dr. Joshi, Rev. Tony Nunley, Hospice and Palliative Care of VA and nurses Barbara, Diane and Tabitha; Medi Home Care; Andover Community Church and the many family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, from 5 till 7 p.m. at Roy A. Green Funeral Home in Appalachia, Va. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tony Nunley officiating. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
