Glates "Gladys" Stiltner WALDORF, Md. Glates "Gladys" Stiltner, age 69, died June 1, 2010, in Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, Va., after a long illness. She was retired from the Air Transport Association in Washington, D.C., where she worked as a Human Resources Benefits Specialist. She lived in the Washington, D.C., area for 50 years. She graduated from Grundy High School, Grundy, Va., in 1960. She was born January 19, 1941. She was the daughter of McKinley and Pattie Stiltner. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cassie Anderson. She is survived by three sisters, Beulah Mayes, Bristol Virginia, Berchie Rafferty of Marathon, N.Y., Erma Johnson of Bealeton, Va.; and four brothers, Roy Stiltner of Waterford, Va., Jennings B. Stiltner of Conway, S.C., Kermit Stiltner of Springfield, Va., and Curtis Stiltner of Meridian, Idaho. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va., on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mac Kinnett, Minister of First Methodist Church, Conway, SC officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family received friends after 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2010, at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Va.
