A funeral service for Golda Mae Rush will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at 8 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 on Wednesday. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Don Minnick, Frank Whiteaker, W.W. "Bill" Briscoe, James Beau Briscoe, Donnie Minnick and Richard Briscoe. Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Briscoe, John Briscoe, Jack Briscoe and Boyd Cassell.
