Gregory Eric Lashlee JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. Gregory Eric Lashlee, died Oct. 21, 2010, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Lashlee was born Nov. 28, 1963, in Beacon, New York. He was preceded in death by his father, John Steven Lashlee of Vicksburg, Miss.; his paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Winifred Lashlee of Beacon, New York; his maternal grandparents, Gernia and Sarah Fanning of Greenville, Tenn.; and his step-father, Bob G. Raines of Abingdon, Va. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Fanning Lashlee Raines of Abingdon, Va.; brother, Jon David Lashlee and wife, Amy, of Stafford, Va., their children, Megan Lashlee, Katherine Breckenridge and Jacob Lashlee; step-brothers, Andrew Raines, wife, Amy, their children, Olivia and Mark of Salem, Virginia; Neal Raines and wife, Alison, their daughter, Rachel, of King George, Va., and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Mr. Lashlee was a 1982 graduate of Tennessee High School, Bristol, Tennessee, served his country in the United States Army and attended East Tennessee State University. Gregory lived in Johnson City, Tennessee. He will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty to his friends and family. Graveside services will be conducted at Holston Conference Cemetery, Emory, Virginia at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, with Reverend Walter Weikel officiating.
