Gregory Eric Lashlee JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. Gregory Eric Lashlee, died Oct. 21, 2010, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Lashlee was born Nov. 28, 1963, in Beacon, New York. He was preceded in death by his father, John Steven Lashlee of Vicksburg, Miss.; his paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Winifred Lashlee of Beacon, New York; his maternal grandparents, Gernia and Sarah Fanning of Greenville, Tenn.; and his step-father, Bob G. Raines of Abingdon, Va. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Fanning Lashlee Raines of Abingdon, Va.; brother, Jon David Lashlee and wife, Amy, of Stafford, Va., their children, Megan Lashlee, Katherine Breckenridge and Jacob Lashlee; step-brothers, Andrew Raines, wife, Amy, their children, Olivia and Mark of Salem, Virginia; Neal Raines and wife, Alison, their daughter, Rachel, of King George, Va., and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Mr. Lashlee was a 1982 graduate of Tennessee High School, Bristol, Tennessee, served his country in the United States Army and attended East Tennessee State University. Gregory lived in Johnson City, Tennessee. He will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty to his friends and family. Graveside services will be conducted at Holston Conference Cemetery, Emory, Virginia at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, with Reverend Walter Weikel officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. I was sadden to hear about Greg's passing. He was such a wonderful part of the fond memories I have from Tennessee High School. My prayers are with his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Greg's death. I have great memories of him in High School and running around our neighborhood. He was always such a fun-loving guy with a great smile too. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family. God Bless.

My mother and i knew greg for only a short time.But he was the same everytime you saw him.Happy with a big smile.when you see him you couldn't help but smile,and it cheered up your whole day.I can never express the hurt we felt from his death.I'm so sorry about his death and i will keep you in my preys.and i belive god will be with you through this time.
