Guy Edward Puckett LEBANON, Va. Funeral services for Guy Edward Puckett will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. at Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Tom Edwards officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. before the funeral service. Donations may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church, P.O. Box 488, Lebanon, VA 24266; or RCMC Hospice, P.O. Box 3600, Lebanon, VA 24266. Guy Edward Puckett, 85, passed away on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at his home. Grandsons and Ronald Rasnake, Gary Puckett, Calvin M. Rasnake and Jerry C. Rasnake will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Beulah and Fred Garrett, Emory D. Rasnake, Bill Lawson, Charles Dickenson, the Lebanon Baptist Church Men's II Sunday School Class and CRP retirees. Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Guy was always so kind and such a friendly person. Someone that never saw a stranger. I first met Guy when I worked at a gas station in Lebanon while also going to nursing school and he was such an inspiration to me on my studies. He will be dearly missed

Uncle Guy was so special to Jeff and me and we appreciate that wherever we've lived, Uncle Guy and Aunt Gerry have visited us there. He was fun and interesting, and interested in us as well. I have been praying for all of you. Guy was a wonderful friend to our family. I had so much fun playing golf with him and dad. I can still see him laughing on the golf course at all our bad shots. He is in a better place, but I will truly miss him.
