Haines "Red" Everett Tuell BRISTOL, Tenn. Haines "Red" Everett Tuell, 82, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn. He was born in Washington County, Va. on Nov. 25, 1928, a son of the late James Floyd Tuell and Gladys Susann Tuell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dee, Roy, and Ralph Tuell. Mr. Tuell was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army, and retired iron worker. He retired from Bristol Steel, where he was a member of the IronWorkers Union. He loved farming and animals. He is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Barbara Tuell; step-sons, Eddie and wife, Janette, Ronnie, and Davie Hons; four sisters, Margaret Clendenen, Mary Sue Bowers, Floye Tester and husband, Roy, Gay Able; special nieces, Wanda Rouse, Shirley Thompson and husband, Mike; nieces, Debbie Justman, Linda Hynes, Lisa Hines; special friends, Shirley and George Peters, Mary and Dallas McFaddin, and Mary Virginia Combs. Haines was a loving husband and brother, and will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m., Tuesday Nov. 22, 2011, at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Chaplin Steven officiating. The committal service and interment will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 23, 2011, at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol Va. Pallbearers will be Roy Tester, Dallas McFaddin, George Peters, and Jamie Bowers. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to the American Lung Association 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Ste. 800, Washington, DC 20004, phone: 202 785 3355.
