Harold Warren Counts ABINGDON, Va. Harold Warren Counts, 63, passed away at his home on Dec. 31, 2010. He was born May 1, 1947, in Washington County, Va., and was a son of the late Ralph and Ruby Stallard Counts. Mr. Counts had retired from a career with AEP with 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy. Survivors are his son, Jason Counts and wife, Leslie; stepdaughters, Felicia Brown and husband, Bobby and Tamra Goodson and husband, James; six grandchildren; brothers, Ron Counts and Don Counts and his wife, Sylvia; four nephews; and one niece. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in the Knollkreg Memorial Park Mausoleum in Abingdon. No visitation will be held. Those wishing to express sympathy may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com and signing the online guestbook. Harold was a pleasure to work with during my years at AEP. He and Fred Fullen were quite a pair and made being at work quite enjoyable. I miss those days and will miss Harold on Facebook. Best Wishes to the family.
