Herbert Hoover Holt

Herbert Hoover Holt BRISTOL, Tenn. Herbert Hoover Holt, age 77, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Greystone Healthcare Center. He was born Sept. 20, 1932, a son of the late Claude and Pearlie Epperson Holt. He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was a former employee of Bristol Metals. Herbert was a member of East Bristol Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Alice Irene Holt; sons, Ronnie Holt and Tommy Holt; several grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; stepchildren, Betty Jean Gray, Tim Eades and Donna Sue Eades; two sisters; and four brothers. The funeral service for Mr. Holt will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at 6 p.m in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating.
