Hershel Ray Combs BLUFF CITY, Tenn. Hershel Ray Combs, age 64, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Combs was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was a truck driver. Survivors include: wife, Margie Lingerfelt Combs; son, Stephen Combs; stepchildren, James Lingerfelt and Donna Wheeler; three grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Leonard and Victoria Hyatt; brothers, George Combs, Wendell Combs and Wayne Combs; stepmother, Terry Combs. The funeral service for Mr. Combs will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Weaver Funeral Home to help the family offset funeral expenses.
