Howard Joseph Lamie GLADE SPRING, Va. Howard Joseph Lamie, age 73, passed away on Dec. 31, 2010, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Lamie; brothers, Junior, Bill and Ross; sisters, Mattie and Bonnie; granddaughter, Victoria Lamie. Survivors, wife, Carrie Helton Lamie; sons, Wes Lamie and wife Dolly of Saltville, Va., Michael Lamie and wife Debbie of Meadowview, Va.; daughter, Kay Little and husband Adam of Meadowview, Va.; brothers, Jim Lamie of Saltville, Va., Jack Lamie of Saltville, Va., Sam Lamie of Bridgeport, Ala.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mr. Howard Lamie will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, in the Rich Valley Presbyterian cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Surber officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R. Henderson funeral home in Saltville is serving the Lamie family.
