Hugh Winston Shaffer PINEY FLATS, Tenn. The funeral service for Hugh Winston Shaffer will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Blountville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ike Brighton and Rev. Roland Whittemore officiating. Burial will follow in Blountville Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Bob Hickman, Richard Horne, Rex McCurray, John Bouldin, Steve Godsey, Jerry Mitchell, David Massey and Mike Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Grover Winegar and Alfred Keene.
