Iris Gobble Henley BRISTOL, Va. Iris Gobble Henley, 68, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, George Gobble; her husband, Walter Henley; and brothers, Jack and Delmar Henley. Survivors are her children, Terry Fields of Bristol Virginia, and Craig Henley of Rural Retreat, Va.; her mother, Rebecca Gobble; her grandchildren, David Robinette, Johnathan Pruitt, Amanda Fields, Nathaniel Henley, Judianne Morissey, Charla Appleba, and Christa Mosley; several great- grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Carrier, Tiny Willis and Norma Thomas; and brothers, Jimmy Gobble and Wendy Gobble. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery, Route 75, Abingdon, with Pastor RuthAnne Henley officiating. The procession to the graveside will immediately follow visitation, which will be from 2 until 3 p.m. Tuesday at Farris Funeral Service. Iris was a great person and willb e truely missed by everyone that knew her. Her great grandson Mattewh will truely miss his great grandmother. We will always remind Matthew how much she loved him. If you need anything please give us a call.
