Jackie Darrell Meadows CEDAR BLUFF, Va. Mr. Jackie Darrell Meadows, age 54, passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, in a Richlands, Va., hospital. Born March 23, 1956, in Buchanan County, Va., he was a son of Ernest and Ellen Marie Rife Meadows of Cedar Bluff. A lifelong resident of the area, he was currently employed by Jewell Smokeless Coal Company at the No. 7 Mines as a third shift foreman. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Linda Meadows of the home; one son, Jamie Meadows and wife, Lori of Castlewood; two grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Tittle and Emma Jade Meadows; two sisters, Jo Ellen Meadows and husband, Jody of Jewell Ridge and Jill Lynn Wood of Cedar Bluff. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Va., with Rev. Mike Ryan and Rev. David Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Perkins Cemetery at Drill, Va. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Sunday.
