Jacqueline Gail Simons Kelley Jacqueline Gail Simons Kelley, age 51, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center as the result of an illness on Nov. 4, 2009. Born Oct. 6, 1958, she was a resident of Irmo, S.C., and Bristol Tennessee. She graduated from Sullivan East High School and Draughon's College. She was an accountant and worked at several businesses in Bristol and the greater Columbia, S.C., area. She had most recently been a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House that supports the Children's Hospital in Columbia. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Denton Simons; and her sister, Shelia Marie Gose; as well as grandparents, Mollie Denton Tester and U.E. Tester, and Virginia and Andrew Simons. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Kelley of Irmo; father, William Simons of Bristol; niece, Kristan Mock and her husband Karl Mock; two great- nieces, who were the loves of her life, Ashlynne and Alexandria Mock, all of Bluff City; and brother-in- law, Robert "Bob' Gose of Blountville. Other relatives surviving include one uncle, Ronald Denton and wife Diane; and four aunts, Kitty Feathers, Dorothy Johnson, Margaret Hoffman and husband Bill, and Helen Lumbo; three god daughters, Kasey Kilgore, her daughter Kyleigh Burton, and Christina Melvin; as well as a god son, Pace Melvin, all of Bristol, are left behind. She also leaves behind Scarlett and Rhett, her two beloved pets. Services for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Blountville, Tenn. Visitation will precede the service from 1 to 2 p.m., also in the sanctuary. Dr. Clay Austin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials in celebration of Jacqueline's life may be made to The Ronald McDonald House, Attention: Liz Atkinson, 2955 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC, 29203.
