Jeanette Edwards BRISTOL, Va. Ms. Jeanette Edwards, 84, 907 W. Mary Street, departed this life Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center after a lingering illness. Ms. Edwards was a lifelong residence of Bristol Virginia and a member of Lee Street Baptist Church. Proceeded in death by, her grandparents, Mr. James and Mrs. Hannah Houston; parents, Mr. Ben and Mrs. Eva Gammon; daughter, Ms. Barbara Edwards; and sister, Ms. Joanne Anderson. Survived by one son, Mr. John Edwards III; grandsons, Mr. John Scott Edwards and Mr. William C. Fugate Jr.; and a host of other loving relatives. Funeral service for Ms. Edwards will be conducted Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Lee Street Baptist with Dr. Rev W.A. Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from from 11 a.m. to the hour service. Interment service will follow in Mountain View Cemetery at 12 noon. Ms. Edwards and family are in the care of R. A. John,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I pray God's blessings upon you in this time of trial but just know that God is working out his perfect plan for her life. She will be missed. I have fond memories of cousin Jeanette. The entire Ervin family sends their regrets. Be blessed and know that we are praying for you.

I remember Jeanette when I was a little girl. She was a very dear friend to my mother, Naomi Anderson. I remember our mother taking me and my sister Audrey to her house to visit and I remember Jeanette coming to our house. I will never forget her laughter. You and mom can continue your friendship. Rest in Peace Jeanette.
