Jimmy W. Hawthorne Sr. GLADE SPRING, Va. Jimmy W. Hawthorne Sr., age 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, French L. and Juanita Hawthorne. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Daisy Hawthorne; three children, Teresa Hawthorne, Glade Spring, Michelle and Tom Aronson, Oak Ridge, N.C., Jimmy Hawthorne Jr. and Sherri, Marion, Va.; five very special grandchildren, Mista Hawthorne, Glade Spring, Ben, Jackson and Zoe Aronson, Oak Ridge, N.C., Trey Hawthorne, Marion; one sister, Shirley Bowers, Glade Spring; two brothers, Bud Hawthorne and wife Annie, Stonington, Ill., Howard Hawthorne, Glade Spring; two brothers- in-law, J.C. Norris, Glade Spring, Franklin E. "Gene " Norris and wife Lucille, Meadowview, Va.; aone sister-in-law, Mary and husband Charles Church, Glade Spring; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Hawthorne will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Glade Spring Presbyterian Cemetery.
