John David Poston SEVEN MILE FORD, Va. John David Poston, age 69, passed away on Dec. 20, 2009, after a long illness. He was the son of the late John and Mary Coe Poston. Mr. Poston owned several restaurants, loved and played many musical instruments. He especially enjoyed flea marketing and horse trading. He worked in the building industry most of his life. He was also preceded in death by, one brother, Melvin Poston; one infant child; one son, Jimmy Poston; and several special friends. Survivors include his mother, Mary Coe Poston of Abingdon, Va.; two daughters, Lisa P. Amos and Tammy Poston both of Richmond, Va.; brother, Charles Poston of Abingdon; four sisters, Cynthia P. Collins of Chilhowie, Lois P. Mabe of Saltville, Marie P. Hall and husband Roger of Chilhowie, and Shirley P. Davidson and husband Dan of Manassas; and a very special friend, Ellie Mae Wolford of Marion. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va., is serving the Poston family.

So long baby brother. I will miss all your jokes and smiles. I will always remember the good times we had on the boating trips. Hopefully your love of music will give you as much pleasure in your afterlife as it did here on earth. Your loving baby sister Shirley.
