John Edwin Hunt BRISTOL, Va. John Edwin Hunt, age 60, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital. He was born November 16, 1949, in Bristol Virginia, a son of the late William Curtis and Elva Irene Morelock Hunt. He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was self-employed by Lawn Care Service. He was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Hunt; and his brother-in-law, Jack Allen Stout Jr. Survivors include: mother of his children, Renee Stout Hunt; children, Terri Danyelle "T.D." Hunt and Tannar Dalton Hunt; brothers, Dan Hunt and wife Angela, Robert Hunt and wife Sandy, Ronald Hunt and wife Joyce, Charles Hunt and wife Diane; special cousin, Nancy Lisic; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Sandy Oliver, Stephanie Stout and Jennifer Stout; brothers-in-law, Jeff Stout, Steve "Pig" Stout and wife Nikki, Stacy Stout and wife Heather; mother-in-law, Judy Stout. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Garland officiating. The burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tannar Hunt, Brian Hunt, Kris Hunt, Stacy Stout, Steve "Pig" Stout, Jeff Stout, Chance Oliver and Ronnie Blake. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred "Buddy" Moore, Jimmy Moore, Anthony Mark Scales, Bruce Baumgardner and Danny "Dude" Bays. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Weaver Funeral Home or other times at the home of his children at 20 Jackson Lane Bristol, Va. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.

May GOD BLESS the Hunt family. I have lost a great friend and a brother. I will miss you my friend and we will meet again with our Heavenly Father. Johnny had to be a great father to his children as he was a great brother to me. Until we meet.....
