Junior Albert Trivett BRISTOL, Tenn. Junior Albert Trivett, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, from his home. He was born in Bristol Virginia, on Sept. 24, 1924, a son of the late Thomas Oscar Trivett and Cordelia Wilson Trivett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Bernice Trivett; son, Jerry L. Trivett; four brothers; and six sisters. He was a life long resident of Bristol and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He was a welder for Black Diamond Corporation, member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church and the VFW Patton- Crosswhite, Post 6975. He loved music, writing songs and playing guitar, and also wrote short stories. He was a loving father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and great- great-grandfather. He is survived by two daughters, Catherine "Cathy" Dowell of Bluff City, Tenn., and Linda Helbert of Bristol Tennessee; two sons, Robert A. Trivett of Bristol Tennessee, and Vernon A. Trivett of Bristol Virginia,: brother, Fred D. Trivett of Bristol Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 until 11:45 Thursday morning, Sept. 16, 2010, at Blevins Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Dale Wright officiating. The committal service and entombment will be held in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gerald L. Helbert, Larry G. Smith Jr., Vernon A "Buddy" Trivett Jr., Danny E. Trivett, Joseph A. Trivett, and Justin D. Rhymer. Honorary pallbearers will be Emory F. "Hank" Dowell, Charles Helbert, Danny E. Helbert, Junior A. Sullivan, and Teddy Venson. Military rites will be presented by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard.
