Kevin Kelly Roberts BLUFF CITY, Tenn. Kevin Kelly Roberts, age 55, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, in Owensboro, Ky. He was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Bristol in 1979. Kevin served over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard. He worked for Raytheon in Bristol Tennessee for 19 years and then worked as a contractor, electrician, and most recently as an adjuster for Farm Insurance. He was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Roberts Sr. Survivors include: daughter, Kelly Hare and husband, Andrew; two sons, David L. Roberts and Jason A. Roberts; mother, Betty Roberts; mother of the children, Paula Roberts Ratcliff; two sisters, Kathy Mort and Rebecca Bennett; two brothers, John Wesley Roberts Jr. and Mark Roberts; three grandchildren, Luke, Leah and Levi Hare; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Carolyn Thorpe. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Andrew Spence officiating. The committal will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the VA National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tenn., with military honors conducted by the VFW Honor Guard of Bristol and Army National Guard.
