Leman Harold Stamper MEADOWVIEW, Va. Leman Harold Stamper, age 62, a resident of Moore Creek Road, passed away Friday afternoon, Nov. 13, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Washington County, Va., a son of the late Leman Herold Stamper and Olive Ruth Rhea Stamper. He was a former resident of Richmond, Va., and had resided in the area for the past six years. He was retired from Philip Morris of Richmond. In addition to his parents, Leman Herold Stamper and Olive Ruth Stamper he was preceded in death by three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Ivory Brooks Stamper of Meadowview; six children, Kenn L. Stamper, Leman D. "Bubba" Stamper, Stevie L. Gray and wife, Amy all of Mechanicsville, Va., Christopher H. Stamper and wife, Melinda, Christina "Tina" Stamper and Conner L. Stamper all of Meadowview; two grandchildren; one brother, Sherman Earls and wife, Gail of the Brumley Gap Community of Washington County, Va.; and one sister, Treva Roberts and husband, Jim of Bristol Virginia. The graveside service for Leman H. Stamper will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in the Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jason Nunley officiating.
