Lillie Ayers Little SALTVILLE, Va. Lillie Ayers Little passed away Friday, Oct. 15, at the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol Tennessee. Mrs. Little was a long-time employee of the Smyth County School System, working in the office of the Saltville Elementary School. She was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence Little; parents, Samuel and Bessie Ayers; sisters, Ruth Ayers Little and Elsie Ayers; and brother, Eugene Ayers. Survivors are two sons, Cecil Little and wife, Wanda, of Whitestone, Va., and Don Little, Saltville; daughter, Ann Little Wimmer and husband, Virgil, of Glade Spring, Va; granddaughte,r Brandy W. Johnston of Los Angeles; great-granddaughter, Hailey Wimmer Johnston of Los Angeles; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend, Ester Clear. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Elizabeth Cemetery with the Rev. Don Petty officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home prior to going to the cemetery. The family requests privacy during this difficult time.
