Linda L. Rasnake The sun rose on Nov. 23, 1942, in Richlands, Va., for Linda L. Rasnake, age 67, of Wilmington, N.C., and the sun set on Dec. 10, 2009, in an Alexandria, Va., hospital following a brief illness. She started her career as a production line sewing machine operator, then moved to the position of time study engineer, and eventually moved into various management positions. She enjoyed home decorating, gardening, bowling, and spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Rasnake; and three sisters, Maxine "Daisy" Christian, Ruth Leffel, and Oma Harmon. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va., with the Rev. Thomas Stranger officiating.
