Lloyd Walker DAMASCUS, Va. Lloyd Walker, 77, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, in Abingdon, Va. He was born in Johnson County, Tenn., and was a son of the late Walter and Melissa Arnold Walker. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Moore Walker; a son, Rick Walker; brother, Walter Coy Walker; sisters, Maggie Walker and Cindy Dugger; and infant twin sisters. Survivors are his sons, Jimmy Walker and wife, Kelly of Abingdon, Sampson Walker, Chris Walker both of Damascus and Mike Walker of Jonesborough, Tenn.; daughters, Sandy Hand and husband, Terry, Ginger Walker, Cricket Walker, all of Damascus, Ashley Walker of Troy, Va., and Donna Walker of Jonesborough; brother, Joe Walker of Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Sweeney and Zella Walker, both of Elizabethton, and Stella McCoy of Kingsport, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. John E. Massey Jr. officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Forest Hills Chapel from 10 until 10:50 a.m. Wednesday.
