Lucille W. Tallman Kendrick BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. Lucille W. Tallman Kendrick, age 84, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at NHC of Bristol Virginia. Mrs. Kendrick was born Nov. 18, 1925, a daughter of the late David and Clara Arnold Tallman and has made her home in the Bristol area all of her life. She was a member of Cross United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Rubin Kendrick; two daughters, Faye Bishop, and Shirley Dearstone and husband Ray; sister-in-law, Mrs. Carolyn Tallman; grandchildren, Michele Scragg and husband Tim, Bridget Candler and husband Tim, Amanda Seivers and husband Jay; great grandchildren, Dustin Salley and wife Jessica, Danielle Salley, Alexandra and Claira Grace Stapleton, Annie and Stone Seivers; great-great-grandsons, Colton and Connor Salley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Margie Brown, Hazel Hicks; brothers, Ernest, Jim, and David Tallman. A funeral service for Mrs. Kendrick will be held 6pm Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Phillips, Pastor Sidney Payne, and Pastor Richard McKee officiating. The burial will be held 4 p.m. Sunday in Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Tallman, Roger Tallman, Eric Tallman, Steven Knowles, Jay Tallman, Rudy Brown, Randall Brown, Eugene Tallman, Gordon Hicks and Doug Kendrick.
