Lyndia Lu Dove Leonard BRISTOL, Tenn. Lyndia Lu Dove Leonard, age 66, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Gray, Tenn., a daughter of the late Lester and Melissa Harwood Dove. She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was a graduate of Blountville High School Class of 1962. Lyndia was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church and the Joyful Lights Sunday School Class. Survivors include: loving husband of 47 years, Rex Leonard; daughter, Michele Cook; sons, Mike Leonard and wife Jennifer, Travis Leonard and fianc‚e Wendy Hobbs; grandchildren, Justin Cook and girlfriend, Crystal Walker, Seth Leonard, William Leonard, Griffin Leonard and Katie Leonard; sisters, Mary Folkner and husband John, JoAnn Landen and husband Warren, Martha Kelly and husband Charles; brothers, Charlie Dove and wife Linda, Earl Dove, Gary Dove and wife Debbie, Jack Dove and wife Vickie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Wood officiating. The burial will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alan Keene, Carl Durham, Ed Moody, Jack Bennett, Charles Eades and Jerry Barlow. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. prior to the service. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
