Mack Garland Collins Jr. ABINGDON, Va. Mack Garland Collins Jr., 47, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, due to an automobile accident in Bedford County, Va. He was born in Richmond, Va., on Aug. 16, 1963, a son of the late Mack Garland Collins Sr. and Charlotte Janette Nunley Collins. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and was of the Christian faith. He is survived by one daughter, Mara Rochelle Collins of Dublin, Va.; two sons, Luke Collins of Dublin, and Jason Collins of Virginia; three sisters, Linda Edwards and husband David of Kingsport, Tenn., Martha Lyons and husband Terry of Riner, Va., and Lou Campbell and husband Tom of Chuckey, Tenn.; two nephews; two step-nephews; and one stepdaughter. The funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Interment will be at Temple Hill Memorial Park. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
