Manza Neta Holman Pafford MARION, Va. Manza Neta Holman Pafford, age 89 passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, with her family by her side. She was born in Smyth County on July 10, 1920, to the late William Curtis Osborne and Gracie Johnson Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca Farmer; and two sisters, Charlotte Osborne and Gracie Nell Bowman. She was retired from Smyth County Community Hospital, a member of the Marion Senior Citizens and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, Sandra C. Kirk and husband Ed, of Marion, Larry Holman and wife Helen, of Marion, and Garry Holman and Kim, of Marion; one brother, Jack Osborne, Marion; one sister, Willie Francis Hayden, Marion; her grandchildren, Pam Farmer, Belinda Padgett, Angela Fox, Edward Kirk Jr. and wife Becca, Derek Wade Holman, and Anna Frisbee; her great-grandchildren, Curtis, Amber, Erica, Samantha, Stevie; one great-great-grandchild, Cayson; a special niece, Barbara Sue Bowman; a special friend and caregiver, Eleanor Thomas; and many other loving friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Steve Hutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Kirk, Joey Cullop, Scottie Vanhoy, Stevie Dalton, Travis Evans, Jack Freeman. Honorary pallbearer will be Albert Hester. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home or anytime at the home of Sandra Kirk, 355 Deans Branch Road, Marion, Va. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion is serving the family of Mrs. Manzanita Holman Pafford.
