Margarete Ann Evans Cork BRISTOL, Va. Margarete Ann Evans Cork, 70, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, in Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol Tennessee. She was born and raised in Alabama before living in Rock Island, Ill., and Iowa, and, eventually, relocating 10 years ago to Bristol, because she loved the mountains. Margarete was a daughter of the late Chester Perry Evans Sr. and Kitty Mae Willis Evans. She was a homemaker and loving mother who enjoyed her life raising her family and was the best sister and friend anyone could hope for. Margarete loved arts and crafts, animals, (especially frogs), and was a wonderful painter. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dotson Cork. Survivors are her brother, Chester "Sonny" Evans of Arizona; sons, William Cork and wife, Vicki of Sylvis, Ill., Christopher Cork of Rock Island, Ill., Dana Cork and wife, Desare and Andrew Cork, both of Bristol Virginia; daughter, Michelle Hall and husband, James of Bristol Virginia; grandchildren, Emily Ann Hall and husband, Jonathan, Evan McCoy, Nikolas Hall and Sydney Hall, all of Bristol Virginia, Patrick Cork and Brandy Cork, both of Molene, Ill., and Marcus Cork and Ansley Cork, both of Bristol Virginia; niece, Angelea White; and nephews, Jonathan Evans and Ryan Evans, all of Iowa.
