Mary Brotbeck

Mary Margaret Brotbeck BRISTOL, Va. Mary Margaret Brotbeck, 77, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Bristol Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. Darter and Laura Odelle Huff Darter. Mrs. Brotbeck graduated from Tennessee High School and East Tennessee State University. She was a teacher and had taught school in Bristol Tennessee, El Paso, Texas, and Colorado Springs, Colo. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, William Brotbeck; daughters, Laura Elizabeth Dennison, of Lilburn, Ga., and Susan Inez Atwood, of Bristol Virginia; and grandchildren William Christopher Dennison, Kathleen Suzanne Dennison, Lindsay Marie Atwood and Olivia Margaret Atwood. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 O'clock Sunday evening, June 21, 2010, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 O'clock Monday morning, June 21, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 13 Heritage Drive, Bristol, VA 24201.
