Mary Juanita Mutter COEBURN, Va. Mary Juanita Mutter, 90, entered into her heavenly home to be in the arms of Jesus Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, with her family by her side at the Norton Community Hospital Norton, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Hobbs and Ella Jordan Hobbs Lawson Vanover; her brothers, Charles Hobbs, George "Pete" Hobbs, Ralph Hobbs; sisters, Eva Mae Barrett and Zelma Adams. She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Grover "Bud" Mutter; a daughter, Carolyn Mutter Buchanan of Coeburn; her son, Darrell Mutter of Cedar Bluff, Va.; five grandchildren whom she cherished dearly, Richie, Becky, Dean, Carma and Carrie; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Lunde of Hertford, N.C.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She lived her life keeping her faith and trust in God. She was an humble lady and was an inspiration to all who knew her; although she will be missed, she will live forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sturgill Funeral Home, 310 Sixth St., NW, Coeburn. Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. in the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel, Coeburn, with the Rev. Jonah Shoop and Rev. James Wilson officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery, Coeburn. The family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Sturgill Funeral Homes 310 Sixth St., NW, Coeburn, VA 24230, in charge of arrangements.
