Maudie Belle Street HONAKER, Va. Mrs. Maudie Belle Street, age 66, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, in a Bristol Tennessee hospital. Born November 24, 1944 in Russell County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Shade and Myrtie Hess Griffith. A lifelong resident of the area, she was of the Holiness faith. She was a disabled seamstress, having been employed at several of the area sewing factories. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Street; one sister, Sarah Barton; and two brothers-in-law, Doug Bailey and Ezra Barton. Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Stinson and husband, Dwayne, of Honaker; one son, David Street and wife, April, of Honaker; special companion, Michael Hodgins of Honaker; one sister, Judy Bailey of Honaker; four brothers, Silas Griffith and wife, Betty, of Williamsburg, Va., Robert Griffith and wife, Polly, Clarence Griffith and wife, Shirley, and Birchard Griffith and wife, Louise, all of Ohio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Arnold and Rhonda Street, John L. and Sue Street, Jimmy Lee and Alice Street, Curtis and Tammy Street, Geneva Justus, Anita Justus, and Gracie and N.J. Garrison; and four grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia, with the Rev. Gary Street and the Rev. Darrell Sutherland officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery at Lebanon, Va. Pallbearers will be Mike Griffith, Matt Hilton, Rodney Coleman, Jackie Fields, Tim Street, Ronnie Justus, Larry Cole, Randy Street, Johnny Hodgins, and Chris Bailey. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Sunday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Burke Hess officiating. VICKIE, DAVID, MIKE AND FAMILY, MAY GOD BE WITH YOU THRU THIS TIME OF GRIEF YOU ALL ARE GOING THRU . I LOVED AUNT BELL SO VERY MUCH AND WILL MISS HER TERRIBLY, SHE SEEMED TO HELP ME THRU MY TIME OF GRIEF AFTER LOOSING MY MOMMY SHE SEEMED TO BE LIKE MY MOM TOO WERE THEY WERE SISTERS, BUT WE KNOW NOW SHE IS SAFE AND IN NO MORE PAIN AND SUFFERING AND WITH UNCLE HARLEY AND MY MOMMY AND DADDY AGAIN, IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR ANY OF YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW , I LOVE YOU ALL MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL, YOU COUSIN LINDA FIELDS
