Muriel Virginia Copeland ABINGDON, Va. Muriel Virginia Copeland, 86, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Wytheville, Va. Survivors are a son, James Randall "Randy" Copeland of Abingdon, Va.; a sister, Cile S. Hetzer of Richmond, Va.; a brother, John S. Bundy of Abingdon; two grandchildren, Clay Randall and Kelsey Rae Copeland of Abingdon; and a special freind for many years, Evelyn Farmer of Castlewood, Va. Funeral services for Mrs. Copeland will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon. The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Washington County Life Saving Crew, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Abingdon, VA 24212.
