Nancy Peters Lilley Nancy Peters Lilley, 75, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. She was born in Bristol Virginia, on March 25, 1935, a daughter of the late Carl and Meda Scyphers Peters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lilley. Mrs. Lilley is survived by her son, Brian Lilley of Monroe, N.C.; and her brother, David Peters of Bristol Tennessee. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Monroe. The family visited with friends following the service. A graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Morning View Cemetery, Bluff City, Tenn. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1712 Carmel Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.gordonfuneralservice.com or www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guestbook. Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel is serving the Lilley family. 423-538-7131.

Brian, I was so very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was a wonderful, caring lady and will be greatly missed. I pray you will find peace and comfort in Christ and may your mothers spirit live on in you.
