Nannie White

Nannie Kate White Nannie Kate White, age 91, went to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Bristol Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Hansonville., Va., a daughter of the late Ollie and Bertha Robinson Bailey. She has lived in the Bristol area since 1942 and was a member of Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy H. White; sister, Kathleen Jordan; and brothers, Charles Bailey, Jim Bailey and Harry Lee Bailey. Survivors include: son, Guy "Buddy" White Jr.; brothers, Ellis Bailey and Frank Bailey; grandson, John White and wife Becky; three great-grandchildren, Heather Hicks, Brianna White and Torri White; one great-great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Hicks; one very special nephew, Jim Jordan. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery with her nephew, Jim Jordan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church, 1127 Virginia Ave., Bristol, TN 37621.
