I was so sad to learn of Nelson's passing. He was special to me and my family. Mom and Dad (Milton and Alma Justice) so enjoyed his visits. Please know that you all are in my prayers at this time of sorrow.

Vicky, Garen, and all
Sorry to hear of Nelson's passing, it was quiet a shock to hear of his passing. He was very special to me growing up as my uncle Nelson. I was so glad to see him at my Mother's Funeral I know how you will miss him as I do my parents. God will take care of all of you in this time of sorrow.

Dad:
I miss you so much.....just knowing I will never see your smile, your touch, or be with you again here on earth is very painful for me at this time.
I know you are with Jesus....celebrating with Carson, your mom and dad, and so many friends and loved ones that have gone before you.
It is comforting to know that you have no more depression and aches and pains.
Someday I will be there with you and I know you will have your arms outstretched when I arrive. Jesus will be there to give me a big hug and then you.
Until then, dad, I am going to share the Gospel of Jesus to as many as I can. I want to bring as many friends as I can with me.
I love you dad and it will just take time for me to get through these days....that are almost more than I can handle at times.
You were a wonderful dad and I thank you for providing for me and working so hard so I could have so much and most of all for always being there for me. You were an awesome dad. I love you and I'll see you someday....that day God already knows.
Dad, I still see you and I'll never forget your big smile and your witty ways.......now, you're in God's hands. I miss you.
Love,
Your daughter, Lynda

May the Good Lord comfort each of you during your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Nelson had a barber shop when in WW2. He was quite the business man. His barbershop pictured here was assembled from scrap materials. It was called Mac's. See the sign. He copied this picture for me and I enjoyed hearing about his Barber Days at War.

My Popaw Nelson was a sweet-natured man with a contagious smile. He labored hard to raise his children and grandchildren in the grace of the Lord, as his parents so wisely raised him. His parents, Elbert and Tori, and his brother, Carson, have greeted him with open arms as he arrived in God's glorious kingdom. Nelson knows no pain, and he is smiling and laughing with a joyful heart that will never stop.
I have many memories of Popaw Nelson. He once travelled 10 hours to Indiana to visit my home to see me and his great grandson Cole. Nelson valued his family and was a man of God. He is remembered fondly by many. He is already so greatly missed. I find comfort in knowing that he is at peace with his family....God's family.
In closing I quote a letter he himself wrote to my son, Cole--his first great grandchild. Popaw Nelson loved all his grandchildren so dearly. In one letter he told Cole, "You are a mighty sweet boy, and I love you for being My Great Grandson."
May God continue to bless our family as we adjust to living without Popaw. We appreciate all your prayers and thoughts at this time.
Thank you.
