Nettie Bell Strouth Cornwell MARION, Va. Nettie Bell Strouth Cornwell, age 87, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at the Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home in Marion, Va. She was born in Rich Valley, Va., to the late William and Lummie Cahill Strouth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, William Ray Cornwell; and her son-in-law, Bobby Winebarger. Mrs. Cornwell was a wonderful person who lived an exemplary life; she was loved and admired by her entire family. Survivors include: one daughter, Alice Winebarger, Marion; two grandchildren, Sherri Blair and husband Ed, Marion, Gary Winebarger and wife Darcy, Marion; two great-grandchildren, Laura Gaver and Anna Winebarger; one great-great granddaughter, Kaelyn Pennington; three sisters, Lucille Powell, Marion, Nora Stanberry, Dublin, Rachel Stump, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at the Highland Memory Gardens cemetery, in Dublin, Va. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.bradleysfh.com Bradley's Funeral Home, Marion is serving the family of Mrs. Cornwell.
