Pastor Monzingo, I have had the pleasure and blessing of being present to hear both you and Nila give very moving cermons. She was a wonderful person and brought alot of joy, at times some straight talk to us when we needed to hear it. She will be missed here on this earth, but dont you know she is singing in Heaven now! Much love to you, Cindy Bullington Chilhowie

My dear Aunt Nila, truly a woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart and all of her life! And oh! How she loved to play. What a role model. All of my children have loved her as much as my brother and I did as kids.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Aunt Nila through her neice and my best friend, Joy Payne. She was truly a good woman who could make you feel at ease with just the gesture of her hand. May your memories and knowing she is in God's arms and free of pain bring you comfort. May God bless you all. She is smiling down on you.

I used to work for Nila at the Visiting Nurses Association when she lived in Houston. She was a dedicated leader, and a wise woman with a great ability to make me laugh and smile. I met her, her late husband and her two daughters at that time and we developed a very special, warm, happy and lasting friendship. She will be sadly missed, but she has left a wake of love and good will behind through the work she tirelessly did and through her loving and loyal daughters. My love to Tru and Charlene.
