OETA FAE "ANITA" DAVIS

Oeta Fae "Anita" Davis BRISTOL, Tenn. Anita Davis, 78, died on Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Wellmont Hospice House. She was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Minnora, W.Va., to the late Greeley Badgett and Maysel Lucille Jarvis Badgett Stalnaker. She was an avid quilter and reader and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Bernard and her husband, David, and Sharon Fleenor, all of Bristol Tennessee; a sister, Carol Hudson of Roanoke, Va.; two brothers, Oval Badgett of Newton Falls, Ohio and Loy Badgett of Orma, W.Va.; four grandchildren, David Felty, Rebecca Fleenor, Izsac Fleenor and Jennifer Bernard; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 Tuesday evening, June 15, 2010, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow with Mr. Roland Whittemore, minister, officiating.
