Paul and Rebecca Clayman

Paul Dean Clayman Rebecca E. "Beckie" Gilmer Clayman Paul Dean and Rebecca E. "Beckie" Gilmer Clayman, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. Paul was born March 20, 1962, in Bristol Virginia. Beckie was born March 29, 1963, in Bristol Tennessee. Paul was an employee of Wilson Trucking and Beckie was an employee of Total Home Care. They both were members of Faith Baptist Church and loved going four-wheeling, camping and spending time with their boys. Paul especially enjoyed hunting. He was a 1980 graduate and Beckie was a 1981 graduate of John S. Battle High School. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bascom and Edith Dotalene Clayman; his brother, Jack Dempsey Clayman; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Ann Clayman; and brother-in-law, Virgil Leonard. Beckie was preceded in death by her mother, Glenna Olean Miller Gilmer. Survivors include: Their sons, Jason Paul Clayman and Justin Allen Clayman; Paul's brothers, Kyle Clayman and wife Carol, Lynn Clayman; Paul's sisters, Peggy Price and husband Danny, Lisa McCracken and husband Tim, Edna Leonard; Paul's sister-in-law, Carol Clayman; Beckie's father: Robert K. "Kemp" Gilmer; Beckie's sisters, Pam Clayman and fianc‚ Doug Rouse, Emma Sue Hughes and husband Tommy; Beckie's brothers, Robert Gilmer Jr. and wife Gail, Jeff Gilmer and wife Diane, Dale Gilmer and wife Lisa; Beckie's best friend, Carol Fleenor; Several nieces and nephews. A double funeral for Paul and Beckie will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at 8 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Zimmerman and Chaplin Mike Rife officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:45 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Bank and Trust in a trust fund for Jason and Justin.
