Paul was a friend of my father's but I remember him best as an early years little league baseball coach. Very supportive and encouraging, particularly to a kid with maybe not an all-star ball future, but a future in life. It was apparently the same support he applied in court -- the kind that made such a huge difference in so many people's lives. Missed, and remembered ...

Donna and family,
I was so sorry to learn of Paul's passing. His passion, warmth, intellect, and wonderful sense of humor were inspiring. His great legacy of improving the delivery of justice to children and families is secure with all of us that knew him through NCJFCJ. He will be missed by many.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Life will go on without Paul as I know he would wish. All of those touched by his wit, wisdom, kindness, generosity and friendship will be left a little less rich by his passing. We will forever love and miss him. Go in peace Paul.

Judge Wohlford and I served on many organizations and committes together. He was always more than eager to do more than his share in trying to provide services to the children of Tennessee and also on a larger stage as President of NCJCP for our Nation. I feel fortunate to have known and worked with him. My condolences to his wife, Donna, and to the rest of his family. Judge Haywood Barry, Retired.

It is going to be unimaginable walking into Juvenile Court and not seeing Judge there. He meant so much to me in the 7 1/2 years I was priveleged to serve him, and I will never, ever forget his wisdom, humor, and kindness.

My heart goes out to the family. During the darkest, scariest time in my life Mr. Wohlford was there and not only made everything ok - he helped me to laugh about the situation. He was an amazing lawyer and went above and beyond. I could never say thank you enough. He will be missed by so many. My prayers are with his family and friends.
