Pauline Lyons

Pauline Lyons TOLEDO, Ohio Pauline Lyons, age 88, departed this life on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 25, 1921, to Fred and Mary Gudger in Bristol Tennessee. Pauline was close to her family, a wonderful mother, loving sister, and always gave her all to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also active with the Troy Senior Citizens Center. Pauline is survived by her grandchildren, Maurice, Mona, Dorthea, Michelle, and Gina; brother, Robert (Idella) Gudger of Clearwater, Fla.; sisters, Laura Gudger of Toledo, and Dorothy Gudger of Bristol Tennessee; sister-in-law, Daisy Gudger; and a host of great-grandchildren and loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lyons; son, John; her parents; and five brothers. Funeral service for Mrs. Lyons will be conducted at Hood Memorial AME Zion Church on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 3 p.m. with Rev. James Reddick officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. till the hour of service. The interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Abingdon, Va. Mrs. Lyons and family are in the care of R.A.
