Pauline Ramsey Grizzle

Pauline Ramsey Grizzle CASTLEWOOD, Va. `Pauline Ramsey Grizzle passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. `Born in Coalwood, W.Va., on June 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Della Chandler Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Grizzle; daughter-in-law, Brenda Grizzle; an infant sister and brothers, John and Eddie Ramsey. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her children, Bette Howell and husband Allan Howell Sr. of Castlewood and Paul C. Grizzle of Tappahannock, Va.; four grandchildren, Allan Howell Jr. and wife Rebekah, Paul C. Grizzle Jr., John Grizzle and Tonya Howell; and a sister and brother-in-law, Dolly Carter and husband Harold. Pallbearers will be members of the congregation of the Lebanon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews of Clyde and Pauline Grizzle. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lebanon with Michael Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Grizzle Family Cemetery with David Wright officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will open the home of Clyde and Pauline Grizzle on Thursday from 1 until 5 p.m., on Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturday following the interment. Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
