Peggy Forgety In loving memory of the passing of our mother, Peggy Forgety, who dedicated her life to her family and to the care of animals. She was the first speech and language pathologist in Prince William County and was retired from the Virginia School System. She also spent several years as a volunteer rescue captain for Stonewall Jackson Fire and Rescue in Manassas, Va. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen, Jennifer, Shauna; granddaughters, Zoey and Evie; son-in-law, Dave; spouse, Richard Roy; and former spouse, Alvin Cooke. Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, in Bristol Tennessee at Weaver Funeral Home, 423-968-2111. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Humane Society's Kindred Spirits Memorial Program; or to Northern Virginia Animal League, 7522 Hyde Court, Manassas, VA 20109.

I met Peggy many years ago at the Stonewall Jackson Vol. Fire Dept. She was one of the first people to "show me the ropes" at the station. I have very fond memories of the EMS calls we ran together and I learned so much from her. She was a very compassionate and lovely person. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family. I met Peggy at Stonewall Jackson Vol. Fire Dept. many years ago. I have many fond memories of the numerous EMS calls we shared together. She was such a joy to be around. She was a very caring and compassinate lady and will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Rich and her family and friends. Sincerely, Karen Ramey.

Kathleen, Jennifer, and Shauna: We are so sorry to read of Peggy's passing. There are fond memories of the many Myrtle Beach summer vacations that our families took together. Kathleen, Jennifer and Shauna: We have such fond memories of your mother and your family in Manassas. It is hard to believe the number of years that have passed since those glorious days on Macbeth street and what was the other street close to the school? We loved your mother so much and she meant so much to us and to our children as they were growing up. We had so much fun together as families.
Please know how much we sympathize with you in this time and hold you all dear in our hearts and prayers.
