Ramona L. Gordon ST. PAUL, Va. Ramona L. Gordon, 76, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at her home. She was born in Coeburn, Va., daughter of the late James and Helen Johnson Counts. She was preceded in death by one son, James C. Gordon; two sisters, Clara Mullins and Virginia Colyer; one brother, Bud Counts. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, L.C. Gordon; five daughters, Donna Collins and husband Michael of Staunton, Va., Barbara Holbrook and husband Jim of Dante, Va., Wanda Carter and husband Earl of St. Paul, Marisa Osborne and husband Bobby of Castlewood, Va., and Janet Johnson and husband Darrell of Castlewood; one son, David Gordon and wife Barbie of Castlewood; one sister, Kay Woods and husband Cecil of Abingdon, Va.; two brothers, Jim Counts and wife Jackie of Bristol Virginia, and Robert Counts of Cincinnati; 16 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ramona L. Gordon will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, with Rev. Ted Phillips and Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewoo. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
