Reba Jean Henard Repass BLUFF CITY, Tenn. Reba Jean Henard Repass, 58, of 380 Old Mountain View Road, Lot No. 7, passed away, Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at her residence following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., to the late Roy Henard and Gladys Skeens Henard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Jack Repass; six brothers; and one sister. She attended New Life Ministries. Our mother was the strongest woman we knew. She was always there for us, and she fought to live for her daughters and grandchildren. They meant the world to her. Reba is survived by three daughters, Renee Orton and husband, Tim, of Elizabethton, Tenn., Jennifer Byrd and husband, Curtis, of Johnson City, Tenn., and Ashley Repass of the home; two brothers, Roy Henard of Blountville, Tenn., and Richard Henard of Bluff City; four sisters, Linda Pickle of Blountville, Betty Bryant of Bristol, Mary Norman of Blountville, and Jean Tice of Bristol; four grandchildren, Timothy Orton Jr., Krystianna Orton, Cherokee Byrd, and Brynin Repass; one great-grandchild, Adrianna Renee Burks; a special son-in-law, Tim Orton; a special sister-in-law, Vickie Henard; a special niece, Rebecca West; two special friends, Donald Cade and Marilyn Matice; and a loyal best friend, Dot Parks. The funeral service for Mrs. Repass will be conducted at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 at Tetrick Funeral Home - Bluff City Chapel with the Rev. Roy Henard officiating. Music will be under the direction of Donald Norman. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the residence anytime. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Blountville. Active pallbearers will be Richard Henard, Rickey West, Andrew West, Timothy Orton, Curtis Byrd and Mike Doss. Honorary pallbearers will be John Tice, Paul Bryant, Dr. Charles Famoyin, Dr. Colvelt, CNA's, Kim and Jennifer and Caris Hospice. Ministers, pallbearers, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guestbook.
