Rebecca Ann Boles ABINGDON, Va. Rebecca Ann Boies, 22, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010. She was a 2006 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and was a loving and dedicated mother to her only child, Annabelle. She loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Linda Glass; maternal grandfather, Elwood Hurt; and an aunt, Lisa Fields. Survivors are her parents, Randy and Lisa Hurt-Glass; her daughter, Annabelle Boies; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Sue Glass; maternal grandmother, Margaret Hurt; aunts, Leslie Barrett and husband, James, Angela Layman and husband, Steve, and Betsy Ogle and husband, Joe; special cousins, Maggie Layman, Brittany Barrett, Jesse Barrett, Dakota Fields and Ben Ogle; and special great-aunts, Barbara Nicholson and Sue Blevins-Rector. Funeral services for Rebecca Boies will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. David Gary officiating. Pallbearers will be deacons and friends of Friendship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday. Private committal services will be held after chapel services Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions for the care of Rebecca's only daughter, Annabelle, are appreciated.
