Rebecca Nickels Williams BRISTOL, Tenn. Rebecca Nickels Williams, 38, went to rest peacefully in Heaven in the arms of Jesus Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. She was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1990, received her BSW in social work from ETSU in 1996, and a master's with honors in social work from Radford University in 1999. Rebecca is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Shelby and Joe Nickels; and grandparents, Susan and Roy Ketron and Polly and Henry Gus Nickels. She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Howard Williams, and his family; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Charles York; and will be greatly missed by her nieces, Tina, Tonya, and Lisa York. The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, Tenn., and later at her sister's residence in Kingsport. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert Russell officiating.
