Rickie Lee "Mug" Hagy

Rickie "Mug" Lee Hagy LEBANON, Va. Rickie "Mug" Lee Hagy, 52, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. Born in Russell County, Va., on Aug. 8, 1958, he was the son of Buford Hagy and Betsy Carpenter Hagy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myrtle and Lindsey Carpenter, and Vince and Margie Hagy. Survivors include one daughter, Laken Hagy; one son, Ryan Hagy, both of Lebanon, Va.; father, Buford Hagy of Rosedale, Va.; mother, Betsy Hagy of Lebanon; two brothers, Joe Hagy and wife, Renee of Greenville, S.C., and Mike Hagy and fianc‚e, Christy of Lebanon; and one sister, Penny Hagy and fianc‚, Ron Goss of Bristol; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be Robert Carpenter, Frankie Carpenter, Teddy Folgleman, Mike Taylor, Rick Bailey, Scotty McCracken, Darrell Rasnake, Bobby Dye and Al Robinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Dewey Sims. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at Owens Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Larry Robinson, the Rev. James Sims and the Rev. Paul Hite officiating. Interment will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 6 p.m. Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
