Robert Edward Nash III

Robert Edward Nash III WISE, Va. Robert Edward Nash III, 39, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at his home in Wise, Va. He was born in Norton, Va., February 5, 1971, and was a 1989 graduate of Appalachia High School. He received his BA degree from UVA Wise in 1993. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. He was a valued employee of Rite Aid Pharmacy for the past 16 years. Robert was a faithful man of God and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Nash Jr.; and grandparents, Robert and Maude Nash, and Omar and Ada Ball. Robert is survived by his beloved son and daughter, Andrew Seth Nash and Hannah Brooke Nash; his mother, Rita Nash of Appalachia; one sister, Robin Nash Fulbright and husband Russell; niece, Holly Fulbright and nephew Wyatt Fulbright all of Lubbock, Texas; aunts and uncles, Joetta and Don Dingus, Wilma McNeil, Suzanne and Bob Duncan, Marcella Nash, Dr. French Ball; many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Roller officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 8 p.m. before services. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Nash's Cemetery, Coeburn Mountain Road, Wise, Va., with Rev. French Ball officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
